Can We Help You?
If your use of alcohol or drugs is keeping you from being healthy, interfering with work or family life, CODA can help you.
We provide the support and treatment you need to reduce and stop your substance use, to reconcile with family and friends, find employment, and take a place in the larger community.
We treat you. CODA doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. When you are ready to rebuild your health and life, our skilled staff will listen carefully and talk with you about choices as you work toward recovery.
We offer outpatient services in Portland, Clackamas, Gresham, Hillsboro and Tigard, where you can meet with counselors, attend groups, and if your health situation calls for it, you can receive medication to block your cravings. CODA also works with people who struggle with mental illness and substance use.
We offer residential programs for men and women in Gresham. Our women’s program serves women with small children.
CODA also offers alcohol- and drug-free housing for adults with specific needs.
We want the people close to you to be able to help and support your efforts. Family members, partners or other supporting people in your life are included in your treatment. You control who is involved, and you get the information you need to make decisions about treatment.
The sentence that appears in much of our material is not just a slogan:
CODA: “Building health and recovery through compassionate, evidence-based care.”
This means that our mission is to provide patient-centered care from people who listen with respect and who will stay with you as your needs change.
When we say “evidence-based” care, we are promising that the treatment we provide is based on sound science and research, and incorporates the best practices available in behavioral healthcare.
